Frumtak Ventures Appoints Frodi Steingrimsson as new Operating Partner

We are excited to share that Frodi Steingrimsson has recently been promoted to Operating Partner at Frumtak Ventures. Frodi has acted as Frumtak Ventures‘ Chief Legal Officer for the past three years and has at that time played a pivotal role in contract negotiations and value creation for Frumtak Ventures‘ funds and its portfolio companies.  

Before joining Frumtak Ventures, Frodi served as an attorney at law for a variety of domestic and international clients, particularly in the sectors of tech-law, intellectual property and finance law. Additionally, Frodi held the position of corporate counsel at the established telecommunications company Siminn and at international gaming company CCP Games.

Frodi holds a Cand. Jur. degree from the University of Iceland and an LLM from Columbia Law School. He is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law at Bifrost University and has also served as a part-time lecturer at both the University of Iceland and the University of Reykjavik.  

 Frumtak Ventures, which currently runs three active venture capital funds, has made investments in 35 startups for an aggregated $100,000,000. Last year, Frumtak Ventures closed its fourth fund at $87,000,000, which is set to invest in startups and innovative companies on seed or post-seed stage.
