Magnús Magnússon

Magnús is the Deputy CEO of Hagar, a leading retailer in Iceland that is listed on the Icelandic Stock Exchange. He holds an M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from UC Berkeley, California, and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland. Magnús has extensive experience in strategy and general operations, both in Iceland and abroad. Before joining Hagar, he worked as an independent management consultant after leading Marel's strategy team for a few years. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant for the global consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he assisted a number of companies with strategy, operational improvements, and major transformations. Before joining McKinsey, he worked for the software company AGR Dynamics.
